Thomas S. Oliver
Tom Oliver is the leader of Executive Talent Management, a talent management firm specializing in Performance Coaching, Talent Assessment and Succession Planning. Mr. Oliver has been working in this and related fields for more than 20 years.
Prior to establishing Executive Talent Management, Mr. Oliver worked in Hershey Entertainment & Resorts company initially having responsibility for compensation and benefits (including executive compensation). However, his primary focus was on Succession Planning, Talent Assessment, Performance Coaching and a variety of organizational effectiveness programs such as the design and implementation of employee satisfaction surveys, exit surveys and organizational assessments and interventions.
In the early part of his career he was the leader of compensation programs for Tyco Inc, formerly AMP Incorporated. In this capacity he was responsible for core services such as cash compensation programs, incentive programs, expatriate programs technical and managerial career ladder programs and the associated legal, financial considerations. A key requirement for him in this role was to bring innovative solutions needed in this non-union, global, engineering and manufacturing company.
Transitioning to Organizational Effectiveness, Mr. Oliver participated in the establishment of talent assessment and succession planning process. While this was initiated in the USA, it quickly grew to include Company operations in Europe and Asia / Pacific
In addition to and concurrent with this secular career, Mr. Oliver spent four years preparing for a career as an ordained clergyman and subsequently served for 19 years, ministering to the needs of parishioners and fellow clergymen.
In 1998 he established Life Counseling which was a firm dedicated to meeting the emotional support of families in his community.
